How Charities Can Enroll

The Better Business Bureau evaluates both local and national charities.  Locally, the charity is evaluated by the BBB Serving Greater Cleveland.  Organizations that are national in scope are reviewed by the Council of Better Business Bureau’s Wise Giving Alliance.

If your organization is a national charity that solicits nationwide and wishes to be the subject of an Wise Giving Alliance report that will appear on give.org, click here to access the National Charity Enrollment Form

If you are with a local or regional charity, seeking contact information for the BBB in your area, click here to enroll online.  If you prefer, we can send a form to you.  Contact Alexa Kyrkos, BBB Charity Review Specialist at alexa@cleveland.bbb.org or (216) 623-8964 x111.

You will be asked to provide a few facts about your organization. You will also be asked to select a password-this is the password you will use to gain access to the online questionnaire once you are provided access to it. BBB staff will review this enrollment form, verify the information, and send you an email within about five business days that will enable you to begin using the online charity questionnaire.

The information you provide will be used to create a report on your organization. Our reports summarize basic facts about a charity's governance, programs, finances, fund raising and operations and show whether or not the subject charity meets the comprehensive Standards for Charity Accountability.

Questions?  National organizations should email onlinecharity@council.bbb.org or call (703) 276-0100.   Local charities should contact Alexa Kyrkos, BBB Charity Review Specialist at alexa@cleveland.bbb.org or (216) 623-8964 x111.
