BBB is offering savvy consumers seven important tips to celebrate the 14th Annual National Consumer Protection Week (NCPW). Sign-up here to receive a BBB tip a day on the latest consumer topics.

NCPW is March 4-10, and government organizations and nonprofits across the country are offering consumers a wealth of tips and information from federal and state governments and non-profit partner organizations. BBB goes the extra mile in encouraging every consumer to take full advantage of their consumer rights and make better-informed purchase decisions.

NCPW.gov offers consumers a wide selection of Free Materials to learn how to protect their privacy, stay safe online, manage their money, avoid identity theft, understand mortgages and steer clear of frauds and scams.

BBB will be participating in a Consumer Fair in the food court of Tower City Center on Monday, March 5, from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM. BBB president and CEO, David Weiss, will be the keynote speaker at an 11:00 press conference that day.

We will also be a participant in a phone bank on Monday’s “Live on Five” program at 5:00 PM and “NewsChannel 5 at 6.” Consumers are invited to call with questions answered by representatives from BBB, HUD, Ohio Attorney General, Federal Trade Commission, Apprisen Financial Advocates and Cleveland Legal Aid Society.
